A special textile paste has been handpainted onto a beautifully soft black silk to take the dye out of the fabric.
The design depicts Smudge the black and white cat who is hiding behind flowers in the garden.
This fabric was framed like a canvas piece but with the lovely feel and quality of delicate silk.
